Being more than 5 minutes late for a class is counted as ½ absence.  It is in your best interest to attend every class because in-class activities cannot be made up. You should make every effort to participate actively in all classroom activities. Class participation will include individual, pairs, and group work. Your contribution to class activities and being prepared will be positively reflected in your grade.
