Welcome to my Homepage.

My teaching profession is driven by a passion to create and share knowledge, to inspire and nurture, and ultimately, to be enriched by the lives of my students. The information base and application of it in biology is progressing rapidly. I feel proud to be associated in the human resource development in the field of biology as a Community College Faculty in the Bay Area.

I believe in the dynamic aspect of teaching. If planning and organization are the first essential elements of effective, successful sharing of information / knowledge, then commitment is a close second. In fact, the two are often related. To promote learning and engage the students in the learning process, I show enthusiasm for the subject and feel satisfied only if I am successful in disseminating the excitement and enthusiasm among the students.

Students are requested to read the syllabus for each course to learn my "expectations from Students" and how to do well in the course. Each class has a different SLO [Student Learning Outcome]. Always remember that my basic objective is to facilitate success in your academic and professional career as a facilitator. You must take the responsibility from your end too by accepting the challenge of the course work.
