EWRT 2.15 - Weeks 10 & 11- Working Draft of Essay 2 (5 points) is due no later than 9 a.m. Friday, March 16:
- No points for late submissions
- Review "A Word About Plagiarism" in Barnet (267-269)
- Post your Working Draft to Comment (Be sure that you select your Group, and Working Draft 2 as the assignment)
- Post your Working Draft to Turnitin
- Peer Review of Working Draft 2 (5 points) is due no later than 12:30 p.m., Monday, March 19)
- Write comments for each of your group members' drafts
- Using "A Peer Review Checklist for a Draft of an Argument" in Barnet (p. 247), answer at least 3 of the questions in detail
- Analyze the essay's use of logos, pathos, and ethos; which is the strongest? which is the weakest? (see Barnet, pp. 65-67 and Color Coded Rhetorical Analysis of Letter from Birmingham Jail)
- Be sure that you have read Bangkok 8 through Chapter 49 for Monday, March 19
- No regular class on Wednesday, March 21; however,
- Be sure that you have read the introductory sections of Chapters 10, 11 & 12 in Barnet
- Be sure that you have finished reading Bangkok 8
