Get Started on Quiz 10

This two-part assignment will count as Quiz 10. These summaries will help everyone on the Final Exam, so keep that in mind! Part One: (Due before we view the film version of NCFOM at 6 p.m., Wednesday, June 18 Read all of the prefaces (the italicized portions of each section, I-XIII). Read your assigned section carefully (see list, below), and make a list of specific things you will be looking for in the movie. Use your marginal annotation codes! Part Two: (Due before class on Monday, June 23) Immediately after viewing the movie version, go over your list, make notes about what is exactly the same in the film version; close to the film version; very different in the film version; missing in the film version; added to the film version. Write a summary comparing and contrasting your assigned section of the book version of No Country for Old Men with the film version.
