- Read No Country for Old Men all the way through, quickly. (Recommended, but not required.)
- Carefully read and annotate No Country for Old Men through p. 37. (Required)
- Are you familiar with the MLA General Format for essays? Do you know how to format an electronic document correctly according to these guidelines? Are you sure?

- Find your name card and sit at that computer.
- Log-out and then log-in to your computer: username is student; password is 4tune
- Open FIREFOX, NOT Explorer or Safari
- OPEN the application, "TextEdit"
- On the first line WRITE: YOURLASTNAME, YOURFIRST NAME QUIZ #1
- SAVE AS YOURLASTNAME_YOURFIRST NAME_QUIZ_1
- SAVE in -> Student Folder -> SchultzApr9
- Open instructions for Quiz #1
