Catalyst Video Training

I have created a series of QuickTime videos related to teaching online with Catalyst and other topics related to online teaching.  These are available through De Anza's iTunes U site.  All you need is the iTunes application installed on your computer, then click here to have iTunes automatically open and take you to the videos!  Here's a list of the videos I have completed to date.  (I will update this list each time I add a new video.)  If you are a first time user of Catalyst, then I suggest that you watch the videos in this order:
  1. Terms and Definitions
  2. Page Organization
  3. Introduction to Your First Page in Catalyst
  4. Legal Issues 1 - Accessibilty
  5. Legal Issues 2 - Intellectual Property
  6. Legal Issues 3 - Student Privacy
  7. Open Educational Resources
  8. Using Catalyst Icons to Set Up Your Course
If  you click on the tab for "Captioned Catalyst Training" you will get a list of videos that are captioned for those who have a hearing impairment.  I will add more as they become available.

Go to the iTunes U video training now.
