CETC ResourcesThe California Educational Technology Collaborative (CETC) has a number of technology resources available to faculty, staff, students, and administrators at California Community Colleges. Perhaps of most interest to faculty and staff at De Anza are the following entities, each providing a variety of services:
- @ONE (pronounced "at one") provides regularly scheduled online and
face-to-face training for faculty and others on the use of technology.
The training includes subjects like how to use desktop applications,
how to teach online, various course management systems (including
Moodle, De Anza's course management system), among other topics
- CCC Confer provides interactive communications technologies, such as phone and web conferencing, online office hourse, etc., all free!
- 3C Media Solutions (formerly known as CCCSat) provides video-based learning materials via satellite technology
- CCC TechEdge publishes a quarterly newsletter with two additional
special issues per year. It is distributed to distance educators, information
systems officers, business leaders, the California legislature, and other
interested parties.
- CCC Technology Center provides infrastructure support services to the other CETC member institutions
- CVC (California Virtual Campus) provides a catalog of distance learning courses offered by California colleges
- CCC Apply provides a unified, single application form for students to use in applying to any number of California Community Colleges.
