We are moving!!!!! Duane and I met with Janet Couch-Vong and Paula Joseph for an overview of the upcoming move to MQ-1 during the Spring break. Stay tuned as more detail develop. 012610

Accreditation Review Committees are forming: There is still room on accreditation review committees if you are interested in volunteering. Although there was an orientation last week, groups are still in the formation stage and haven't had their first meeting. Serving on a task group affords an opportunity to learn more about different areas of the college as we research the document that will drive our accreditation visit. 011910

Language Exchange Program: Please announce to your classes, since the program is coming quickly: Feb 16-26. The attraction for students while learning a new language: make new friends, practice teaching your first language, find out more about people and cultures in countries around the world by exchanging your native language for the language you are learning on one or more 60 minute sessions in ATC 304.

Podiums: There have been several requests for podiums. College Services no longer $upplies them, effective a couple of years ago. The division has in$ufficient B-budget to purchase them, since to begin with, the shortage was created when they were quickly moved from room to room, damaging feet and legs. 10610

Turn Lost and Found items directly to Campus Security: Please take any items left in your classroom directly to Campus Security for Lost and Found. We no longer have staff in the division office to relay these materials for you. 1130

Reminder: We do not have student clerical support this quarter. Certain tasks that were performed by our students are falling back on the d.a. desk. Thank you for your patience.

Please check your IIS Division mailbox: Instructors, please check your IIS division mailbox on a regular basis. For example, when our part-time office hour form is returned to us without your signature or areas left blank, we place it in your division mailbox.

Surplus from Gerri Parker: There are two four-drawer vertical metal file cabinets and one two-door storage cabinet in MCC-15. If you can use it in your faculty office or if you need lockable storage in a classroom, please let Jo Ann know ASAP.
