Dear AnuThis assignment provides you with an opportunity to get advice about an interpersonal challenge/issue/problem/conflict you exists in your own life. You will writing a brief letter in the form of an anonymous letter to an advice columnist--Dear Anu.
This letter:
- should be about a "real-life" INTERPERSONAL communication challenge/issue that you have recently experienced or are experiencing (in any interpersonal context)
- should be written with enough detail to give us a clear picture of what the challenge/issue is
- should include some kind of "question" as part of it in order to indicate what you want help resolving/discussing
- length should be no more than 1-3 paragraphs (single-spaced).
- should indicate at the end a rating of 1-5 (1 = really important to me and I want some advice on it, while 5 = important, but okay if we don't discuss this in class).
SUBMITTING YOUR 'DEAR ANU' LETTER: Email me this assignment by noon on Sunday, June 6th: anu.deanza@gmail.com or KhannaAnu@fhda.edu
Note: Assume that when we discuss this in class, it will be discussed anonymously. So even though I will know via your email who sent it, when I present your situation for discussion with the class, I will remove your name from it--you can choose during class discussion whether or not you want to reveal your identity to the class.
