Welcome to my home page!
I have been teaching at De Anza College for over fifteen years. I like to travel and write.
I am easily accessible to students. When I am not conducting office hours, I can be found on campus.
I teach English Composition writing courses. I have developed writing techniques that guarantee student success. I am also actively involved in the Division of Intercultural Studies teaching and developing the Urdu language courses.
I am also the coordinator for the Urdu program that is offered through the Intercultural /International Studies Division and is transferable. Urdu is the official language of Pakistan. This year, we are offering an intensive program during the summer with Urdu 1 and Urdu 2. Even if you are not from Pakistan, this is an opportunity for students to learn a new language and to be part of this culture and tradition.
