EWRT 100B--PREPARATORY READING AND WRITING SKILLS:  a 5 unit course developing the skills necessary for college level reading and essay writing.  Introduction to concepts such as Opening Paragraph/Closing Paragraph/Thesis Statements; short essays; paragraph transitions.  Designed as preparation for EWRT 1A.
