About the Professor

I believe that all students can succeed in higher education. My role is to mentor and point students in the right direction in order for success to become a reality.

I was a student of Foothill College (our sister school) where I received an AA in Speech Communication. I then transferred to San Jose State University (SJSU) where I received a BA in Psychology and continued school there through the Master's program for Experimental Psychology. During my schooling at SJSU, I worked at NASA Ames Research Center where I conducted and completed my graduate thesis on prospective memory (everyday memory) as it relates to flight safety. I then conducted research for the space program looking at the factors that make teams cohesive. I began teaching here at DeAnza College in the Winter of 2006 under the chair of the psychology depatment, Dr. Ramskov. I am currently teaching Psychology 1 and Psychology 8 on Tues./Thur. evenings

My office hours:

SPRING 09-Thursday 5:10p-6:10p, ADM 102 & F-21B
